In rural areas, many households hang red lanterns at their doorsteps and paste couplets filled with blessings. The dining table is filled with various delicacies, often with a large plate of dumplings in the middle. At my grandmother's house in the countryside, in addition to eating dumplings, I can also enjoy local specialty rice cakes, as well as local pork.
During the Spring Festival, besides the above, the most impressive thing for me was setting off firecrackers. Fireworks and bamboo have been banned in cities this year, but not in rural areas. Therefore, I think the festive atmosphere in rural areas is stronger. On New Year's Eve in rural areas, fireworks bloom in the night sky, colorful and particularly beautiful. Under the sky, there are farmhouses with thick white snow roofs, and the scenery looks particularly beautiful and comfortable.
These are my observations during the Spring Festival. Although I didn't travel this winter vacation, I feel happy every day.
