1.过年了英语日记 篇一

The Spring Festival is the most solemn traditional festival in China, as well as a reunion festival. People who have been busy for a year are rushing home from all directions to celebrate the New Year. The streets and alleys are crowded with people, making it very lively.

Early on the morning of Chinese New Year's Eve, my father, mother, and I went to buy New Year's goods. We bought many Spring Festival couplets, New Year paintings, candies, chicken and fish... What made me happiest was that my mother bought me beautiful new clothes. After buying the New Year's goods, my mother cleaned the house clean and hung a big red lantern at the door. My father and I pasted Spring Festival couplets and the word "fu" on the door.

In the afternoon, my father and mother were busy in the kitchen, preparing delicious New Year's Eve meals. The aroma wafted out in waves, it was so fragrant! All of them are my favorite dishes, chicken, fish, shrimp

In the evening, after having the reunion dinner, the whole family sat together to watch the Spring Festival Gala, which was very exciting. The sound of firecrackers echoed outside, crackling, and someone set off fireworks. The colorful fireworks were like flowers blooming in the sky, extremely beautiful.

A new year has begun, I hope my whole family is happy and healthy, and I hope my studies continue to improve.

2.过年了英语日记 篇二

There are many traditional festivals in China, such as: Mid-Autumn Festival, Loong Boat Festival, Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival, Spring Festival, Qixi Festival. My favorite is the Spring Festival!

Every year during the Spring Festival, people who are away from home will return to their hometowns to reunite with their loved ones. We also returned to the side of our grandparents. On the night of New Year's Eve, my grandmother prepared a lot of delicious food, which made my mouth full. Everyone sat around the dining table, chatting about interesting things and saying blessings. What a heartwarming scene! After finishing the reunion dinner, we gathered around the TV to watch the Spring Festival Gala, it was really fun. Before midnight, colorful fireworks eagerly illuminated the night sky in the village. It was so beautiful! After twelve o'clock, the sound of firecrackers echoed in the village, and the crackling sound was really pleasant!

On the morning of the first day of the lunar new year, I got up early and went to pay New Year's greetings with my sisters. Every household prepared various delicious food, and we also participated in a garden tour. The park activities are diverse, including shooting, guessing handwriting, blind people beating gongs, tug of war, and ring tying... In the evening, the village held a cultural evening party, where everyone watched Gaojia opera, listened to music, and enjoyed dance together, with a happy smile on everyone's face.

This is my favorite Spring Festival, lively Spring Festival, and unforgettable Spring Festival!

3.过年了英语日记 篇三

The Spring Festival is a lively holiday, and in my hometown, it is even more lively. I am very happy to be able to celebrate the Spring Festival in my hometown again this year.

It's Chinese New Year, children have gone on strike, adults have resigned, and everyone is celebrating the New Year at home.

During the Chinese New Year, adults are busy decorating their homes, while children are quite idle. When adults are busy, they insist on holding their hands and asking them to buy something fun. The adults had to stop their work and accompany the children to buy firecrackers. Children are not afraid of the sound of firecrackers, boldly stuffing them into pits, holes, throwing them into water, and burying them in soil. Every place can be a place for children to shoot guns, so large holes can be seen in the fields, soil, and coal.

The villagers are even more simple and generous. Today, our family slaughtered a pig, and I jumped three feet high with joy. The adults sharpened their knives quickly, everything was ready, and they released the pigs from the pigsty. When the pigs saw the big knife, they were scared and started running towards the door. The adults put in a lot of effort to catch the pig back. The slaughter of the pig has begun. First, make a hole in the pig's hoof, fill it with air with a pump, and then use a big knife to cut open the pig's belly. Then, a hot breath comes out of the pig's belly, and the unpleasant smell makes people nauseous. Then people tied the pigs to crosses, took out their internal organs, and distributed a portion of their meat to their relatives and neighbors. In the evening, a sumptuous New Year's Eve dinner came out, including stewed trotters, stewed pork ribs, and others. It goes without saying that during the Chinese New Year, eating big fish and meat can be overwhelming.

The next morning, I woke up early and heard the noise outside the door. When I went out to take a look, it turned out that groups of girls came to my house to ask for candy. The girls were eating candy while saying 'good Spring Festival'. If it weren't for the excess sugar prepared by their mother, the girls would have already consumed all the sugar. Thanks to my grandmother's foresight, she saved the remaining portion for me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to eat it!

Although the weather is cold, the Spring Festival in my hometown is warmed by people's enthusiasm.

4.过年了英语日记 篇四

During the Spring Festival, every household lights up and lights up, and the poet Wang Anshi wrote in his poem "Yuanri": "Thousands of households always exchange new peaches for old talismans on this day." This is the Spring Festival!

On the evening of the New Year's Eve, Grandma brought a plate of fragrant dumplings to the table, and two plates of Spring rolls with a few stir fried dishes. The atmosphere of the Spring Festival quietly mixed with us, and we toasted to celebrate the New Year. Although these simple home-made meals were just like a Manchu Chinese banquet in my eyes.

Nowadays, the government does not allow setting off firecrackers, so I prepared 66 balloons a few days ago and strung them together with needle and thread to avoid them flying away with the wind. I don't think you all know that it's about stepping on balloons.

The process of making balloons can be said to be the hardest, even with an air pump, my hands would feel sore, but I persisted. I also took the opportunity to play a prank and filled it with 6 sturdy balloons. Not only did it prevent other balloons from flying away, but if someone stepped on it, it could also splash their pants with water.

Stepping on the balloon quickly began, and my little cousin and I had a slight advantage. My cousin and eldest cousin were also unwilling to fall behind and worked even harder. Suddenly, the sound of "crackling" kept ringing in our ears. Accidentally, I stepped on a water egg. Fortunately, I am familiar with the rules and specially wore waterproof pants and rain boots, as clever as me. Finally, we started comparing who had the most water eggs. It turned out that it was the clumsy eldest cousin who stepped on three water eggs, two of me and one cousin, while the youngest cousin didn't step on any of them.

Although balloons can create the effect of firecrackers, they are also one of the sources of pollution, so they should not be used too much. This is the joyful Spring Festival in my home, how about you?

5.过年了英语日记 篇五

Amidst the sound of firecrackers, the year ends, and the spring breeze brings warmth into Tu Su. The annual Spring Festival has arrived, and with the sound of firecrackers, people get up from bed early in the morning and start cleaning, which is called sweeping dust. After everyone finishes cleaning, they will pile up the garbage together and clean it up after the New Year. It is said that this can "gather wealth". After cleaning, people started busy pasting couplets, window decorations, and hanging lanterns, running up and down happily, decorating their homes with joy. The wanderers who were away from home also couldn't wait to return to their hometown to reunite with their loved ones. The elders prepared a table full of delicious food, and the whole family sat together, holding up their glasses and blessing each other, chatting and laughing happily. The child was eating and playing nearby, laughing and laughing non-stop. At the dining table, a child reached out to pick up a piece of fish to eat, but was blocked by the adult next to them. I was very puzzled. My father said, 'You can't eat fish during the Chinese New Year, you have to keep it, which means' there will be fish (surplus) every year'. I nodded in confusion. After dinner, as soon as the children see the adults, they will send a blessing, and the adults will praise the children for their sweet mouths. They will then take out a red envelope from their pocket with a smile and give it to the children.

The firecrackers were set off, and the children ran out of the house one by one excitedly, setting off various small firecrackers. The distant firecrackers looked like fairy flowers, shooting stars, and shining pearls, extremely beautiful. Due to the ban on setting off firecrackers and firecrackers in the city, it is estimated that such beautiful scenery can only be enjoyed in rural areas.

The next morning, people went door-to-door to pay New Year's greetings to their relatives and friends, brought New Year gifts to others, and sent a blessing. Everyone gathered together to chat and talk about family matters. How wonderful!

The Spring Festival is not about eating better than any other family, nor is it about receiving more New Year's money than any other family. The most important thing is for the whole family to gather together happily and enjoy that warm time. This is the simple and happy Spring Festival in my eyes!

6.过年了英语日记 篇六

In Linhai, the Spring Festival usually lasts from the first to the fourteenth day of the first lunar month. The popular saying among the people of Linhai, 'On the eighth day of the Lunar New Year, clear soup should not be consumed', is like this. On the first day of the Chinese New Year, every household goes to the Women's Mountain to burn incense, in order to seek peace and good luck in the new year. There are also many taboos on this day, such as not sweeping the floor, not pouring water on the ground, not using knives, not sewing, not doing business, etc. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, people should wake up early and set off firecrackers, known as "opening the door firecrackers", hoping for a good omen this year. After the first year of junior high school, every household goes out to visit relatives and friends, and pay New Year's greetings.

The eighth day of the eighth lunar month is also a busy day. My hometown wants to eat "eight meals" because this is the first "eight meals". Before that, I didn't eat anything but Congee, Mantou, square cakes, and wheat oil pudding. Previously, farmers were too poor to afford food, but eating on the eighth day of the lunar new year means they will have food to eat this year. If it is sunny on the eighth day of the lunar new year, it means that the crops will have a good harvest this year. If it is not sunny, it means that this year is not good.

other. The local Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) is celebrated on the 15th, while we celebrate on the 14th. There are thousands of opinions about this. Some say that Mrs. Fang Guozhen's 14th birthday and the 15th Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) are celebrated, so Linhai people are allowed to celebrate her birthday one day ahead of schedule. Some people also said that Qi Jiguang, when fighting against the invaders in Taizhou, made a tactical decision to advance Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) one night because of the leakage of war secrets. In the north, we usually eat rice dumpling and Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) on Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival, while we eat soup. Eating soup was made by Qi Jiguang during the Anti Japanese War to prevent soldiers from going hungry. Soup is made of taro and radish. Nowadays, with the improvement of living standards, there are celery, winter bamboo shoots, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, dried tofu, and oil soaked. All of them are put together, and then mountain flour is added. Stir and stir, and the ingredients are taken out of the pot. Due to the abundance of ingredients, this soup can be stirred into a big pot, enough for several meals for the whole family.

Is the Spring Festival in Linhai lively enough? It's also different, very unique.

7.过年了英语日记 篇七

My favorite festival is the Spring Festival, because it is a traditional Chinese festival where families can gather together to eat New Year's Eve dinner, set off fireworks... Everywhere is filled with laughter and joy.

Thirty year old In the evening, my cousin, grandmother, and grandfather all came. My grandmother specially cooked a few signature dishes, and my father also bought many fireworks. The New Year's Eve dinner began, and I saw that the dishes on the table were very sumptuous. I was drooling and couldn't wait to put some food in my bowl, and then I wolfed down and ate a big meal. I looked at my cousin and saw that he was eating with relish. After a while, he finished eating too, and the two of us went to the bookstore to play computer games together. At eight o'clock, the adults finally finished their New Year's Eve dinner. This is the moment we have been eagerly anticipating, because when adults eat well, it is the time to give red envelopes to children. I'm happily thinking, will there be more red envelopes this time? So, I pretended to be in the room with that thing, and as soon as I left, my grandmother handed me a red envelope. My cousin also came over when he saw it, and at this moment, my grandfather also handed him one. We excitedly gave the red envelope to our mother, only to see that it was round and full. We really wanted to open it and take a look

Half an hour later, the adult called us two 'little money fans' out, and the next thing was to set off fireworks. I saw the adults confidently go over and light the fireworks, then quickly run back, only to hear a "pop" sound. The sky was like a meteor shower, and the ground seemed to have dropped thousands of pearls. I saw my neighbors also take out fireworks, splashing and popping, followed by colorful fireworks soaring into the sky, and the sky suddenly looked like daylight.

After the fireworks were set off, my cousin and I rushed upstairs, turned on our computers, and continued playing for a long time. It was almost midnight, and my cousin went back to Pudong, while my grandfather and grandmother went home.

I like this festival because I have a great time playing it!

The Spring Festival is commonly known as "New Year". It is the most grand and lively ancient traditional festival among the Chinese people. The festive atmosphere will last for a month. Before the first day of the lunar new year, there are ceremonies such as offering sacrifices to the stove and ancestors; During the festival, there are ceremonies such as giving children New Year's money and paying New Year's greetings to relatives and friends; The second half of the festival is the Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival. At that time, the city was full of lanterns and the streets were full of tourists. The grand occasion was unprecedented. After the Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival, the Spring Festival was over.

The history of the Spring Festival is very long, originating from the worship of gods and ancestors at the beginning and end of the Yin and Shang dynasties. There are also many legends about it. In modern folk customs, celebrating the Spring Festival is also known as the Chinese New Year. In fact, during the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival The origins are very different. One theory is that according to legend, there was a monster called "Nian" in ancient China, with long antennae on its head and extremely fierce. Nian lives deep underwater all year round and only climbs ashore on New Year's Eve, devouring livestock and causing harm to human lives. Therefore, on New Year's Eve, people from every village and hamlet flee to the deep mountains with their children to avoid the harm of the "Nian" beast.

One day, an old man came and said there was a way to drive away the Nian beast. Everyone was skeptical, but only a few people accompanied the old man to drive away the Nian beast. At midnight, the "Nian" beast broke into the village. It found that the atmosphere in the village was different from previous years: every household in the village had posted red couplets. Nian glared angrily at the houses with couplets pasted on them, and suddenly remembered the crackling sound of firecrackers. Nian was scared and fled in panic.

Everyone cheered, and the next day, the ecstatic villagers changed into new clothes and hats to celebrate the arrival of Youxiang, and went to their relatives and friends' homes to say hello. This matter quickly spread in the surrounding villages, and people knew the way to drive away the "Nian" beast.

From then on, every New Year's Eve, every household would stick red couplets and set off firecrackers; Every household has clear candles and keeps watch for the New Year. Early in the morning of the first day of the lunar new year, we also have to go and greet each other with family and friends. This custom has become increasingly popular and has become the most solemn traditional festival among Chinese people.

Spring Festival is one of our traditional Chinese festivals. We are all particularly happy during the Spring Festival.

On the 29th day of the Lunar New Year, it is the day when our whole family eats the New Year's Eve dinner. In the morning, the whole family is very busy. My younger brother and I are busy doing homework, while my dad and mom are busy cleaning, hanging curtains and lanterns. I saw my father take out a lantern, skillfully install it, and then smoothly install it on the ceiling; Mom took out a cloth and dipped it in water in the basin, wiping the window; A fragrance came out of the kitchen, and grandma was stewing dishes in the kitchen. After a while, the house seemed to have changed, with red and vibrant lucky words pasted on the front door and couplets on both sides of the walls. New lanterns have also hung on the ceiling, shining brightly at night.

At night, every household hung lanterns, shining brightly. The New Year's Eve dinner was ready. Grandma brought the delicious dishes and steaming hot rice that she had prepared, which attracted many people to the dining table. Mom poured drinks for us and we started to eat big. There were big turtles and delicious chicken soup It's really delicious. After eating for a while, Grandpa took out the New Year's money and gave it to me and my younger brother. We were very happy.

The next day, we packed our things early and went to grandma's house. As soon as we walked in, my younger brother and I affectionately called out 'grandma', and then we sat down to do our homework. In the afternoon, we went to Tangqi to play for a while. We also bought a lot of delicious food and played a lot of small games, which were really fun. After returning, it was time to eat. We sat at the dining table, with delicious dishes and steaming hot rice served. We began to eat, and the aroma was so strong. After finishing our meal, my younger brother and I went to set off firecrackers. When we fell to the ground, it made a loud noise that startled our mother. At night, the sky was particularly dark, but there were still a few stars shining. My brother and I started playing with flashsticks, shining brighter than the stars in the sky. My brother and I were very happy.

On the morning of the first day of the lunar new year, we were awakened by the sound of firecrackers. The new year had begun, and we put on new clothes and ran into it.

It's almost Chinese New Year, and my favorite thing to do is to buy New Year's goods with my mother.

The cars on the street are flowing like water, and pedestrians on the road are carrying big and small bags of things, hurrying along.

Red lanterns and couplets have been hung at the entrance of the supermarket. The supermarket is crowded with people, bustling with activity, and the goods inside are much more abundant than usual. The most distinctive feature is the construction of a New Year's goods street. The New Year's goods street is full of the flavor of the year, filled with Chinese red: red lanterns, golden red "fu" characters, fiery red couplets, bright red Chinese knots, as well as strings of red chili peppers, golden corn and other festive and auspicious decorations. Picking and choosing, we bought a red and plump hanging product with a "fish" every year. The salesperson kept introducing the promotional products to everyone, tempting colorful candies and snack foods that made me unable to take a step forward. I kept urging my mother to buy them quickly. My mother bought my favorite pistachios, chocolates, melon seeds, peanuts, pine nuts, almonds, candies, fruit juice... But what attracted me the most were the dazzling books. I asked my mother to go shopping and stay there to read. "How Steel Was Made", "Robinson Crusoe", "Mystery of the Universe", "One Hundred Thousand Whys", "Five Thousand Years in the World" caught my attention. I was mesmerized when my mother arrived. I bought them all because I liked them so much. The New Year's new energy () elephant, my mother held my hand to buy me New Year clothes, tried one piece after another, and finally my mother bought me a pair of bronze boots and paired them with a new pair of pants. After buying so many things, my favorite ones are my few books.

After leaving the supermarket, we also carried big and small bags of New Year's goods and hurried home.

11.过年了英语日记 篇十一

The Spring Festival is the most grand and lively festival.

I heard that there was a fierce monster called "Nian" in ancient times, which would come out to harm humans and animals every twelfth lunar month. Later, people finally discovered that "Nian" was afraid of red, flames, and noise. So, people would stick couplets, hang red lanterns, and set off firecrackers on their doors every Chinese New Year.

In the days leading up to the Chinese New Year, we all became busy. We need to do a big cleaning, prepare enough food, and get everything ready for use and clothing, so that we can have a fresh and refreshed atmosphere during the Chinese New Year.

The New Year's Eve was really lively. You see: Fireworks illuminate the whole world, and the sound of firecrackers echoes throughout the country. My friends and I set off fireworks and carried lanterns. Not only us, adults are also joining in the fun! Some of them set off fireworks, some watched the fireworks, and some even took out cameras to capture these beautiful scenes. If I were a painter, I would definitely paint it down! On this day, people who work in other places will definitely rush back to have a reunion dinner unless absolutely necessary.

The scenery on the first day of the lunar new year is completely different from that on New Year's Eve. I got up early in the morning, ate a bowl of "longevity noodles", and then went to burn firecrackers with my father... The sound of the firecrackers kept on, as if we were debating who would make a long and loud noise; That day, there was thick smoke in the air... I think this must be the "credit" of firecrackers! That atmosphere: Men, women, children, and the elderly all put on new clothes, with red couplets posted outside the door. Firecracker paper was everywhere at the entrance, on the rooftop, and on the road, making people feel like they were hallucinating. On this day, we should say some good things and not speak ill, in order to show good luck and prosperity. This is indeed a beautiful and happy day!

This is the Spring Festival in my hometown, a festive and lively festival filled with joy and excitement.

12.过年了英语日记 篇十二

During the Spring Festival, there are many memorable things that are a sign of happiness

Posting Spring Festival couplets requires everyone to be mobilized in our home. I hold the tools, Mom checks the position, and Dad posts them. High, high, left, left, "my mother's laughter could be heard in my ear from time to time. Looking at the pasted couplets, I felt a strong sense of Chinese New Year.

During the Spring Festival, frying crispy meat and making dumplings are traditional customs. Early in the morning, everyone was busy packing bags and exploding them, it was so lively. I think this is the Chinese New Year. A day's hard work has never been in vain. At night, these delicious dishes are all served at the "reunion table", where the family sits together, discussing national affairs, reminiscing about trivial matters, reminiscing about the past, and looking forward to the future. It is warm and full of a strong sense of happiness. After dinner, firecrackers and fireworks are naturally indispensable. Look at the sound of firecrackers hanging like a bell, ringing through the clouds, but in the blink of an eye, only fragments on the ground remain. Fireworks, with all their might, bloom in the lacquered night sky. Even if they are fleeting, their beauty forever lingers in the night sky and is never forgotten by anyone. Look! That one is as diverse as a chrysanthemum, this one is as charming and extraordinary as a crabapple, here it is as enchanting and beautiful as peach blossoms, and there it is as red as fire as pomegranate flowers. They all seem different, but they have one thing in common - beauty!

Spring Festival, so happy, so blissful! Looking forward to the upcoming Spring Festival!

13.过年了英语日记 篇十三

On X month X day, under a clear sky, we boarded a train bound for Shenyang, Liaoning, and began our Spring Festival family visit journey.

According to our previous agreement, we were going to spend the Spring Festival at my aunt's house in the countryside of Shenyang this year. We took a two-day train ride and finally got off the train with a tired body but an excited mood. Then we needed to take a two-hour bus ride to get to my aunt's house. When I arrived at their house, I first paid New Year's greetings to my aunt uncle, and then perhaps received "welfare". Guess what? Yes, it's a red envelope, a bulging one Big red envelope! I quietly walked to an unnoticed corner, opened the red envelope and counted the money inside. Wow! Oh my goodness, it's as much as 4000 yuan! My wife surprised me so much. I've never seen so much money before, and it's my own money! Hehehe, I'm rich! I quickly handed this red envelope to my mother and asked her to save it for me to use in the future. I'm being sensible! Wow haha

It was soon New Year's Eve, and I helped my aunt make dumplings. I was responsible for rolling out the X skin. While others were not paying attention, I grabbed a handful of raisins and stuffed them into an X skin to make a raisin dumpling and a coin dumpling. Quickly put these two in the dumpling pile and see who could eat them, hahaha! The Spring Festival is really fun!

Finally, I wish everyone a happy Spring Festival and progress every day!

14.过年了英语日记 篇十四

Today, my father and mother and I came to the waiting room of the railway station early to prepare to return to our hometown for the Spring Festival.

The waiting room was filled with people, and the ground was filled with large and small boxes, making it difficult to move forward. At first glance, the crowd looked like small ants, densely packed, and everyone's eyes showed excitement and anxiety.

When we heard from the loudspeaker that the train we were on was about to enter the station, we couldn't wait to run to the platform. We saw the train slowly entering the platform, and everyone was very happy. When the train stopped, I saw through the window that the corridors of the carriages were crowded with people, one after another, and everyone was unable to move! Standing outside the carriage People consciously lined up in long lines waiting to get on the car, but the door was squeezed so tightly that it couldn't be opened. At this moment, some people forcefully kicked the car door with their feet; Some people climb in through the car window; Some people use mobile phones to communicate with their families; Some people followed the station staff back and forth. But in the end, the car door still didn't open, and they had to watch helplessly as the train left, with a disappointed expression in their eyes.

From this, I think that the Spring Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China, and everyone is eager to go home and reunite with their loved ones, just like the poet Wang Wei wrote in "Remembering Shandong Brothers on September 9th": "Being alone in a foreign land as a stranger, I miss my family even more during festivals"!

Ah, it's really not easy to go home for the Chinese New Year!

15.过年了英语日记 篇十五

The Spring Festival is the busiest time at home, filled with a festive atmosphere everywhere!

On the afternoon of December 30th, my father was busy pasting Spring Festival couplets, and my brother and I were busy helping him paste the paste. We pasted a big lucky character in the center of the gate, and festive Spring Festival couplets on both sides of the gate. The upper couplet read "Silver Snake Carrying Fortune", the lower couplet read "Purple Swallows Dancing in the Spring Breeze", and the horizontal banner read "Great New Year's Fortune". We quickly put up the Spring Festival couplets, and I am very happy to see the fruits of our labor. On both sides of the gate, my father hung two big red lanterns, indicating that the new year will be even more prosperous.

On New Year's Eve morning, I put on new clothes and watched my father set off firecrackers with my brother. A 'crackling' sound passed through our ears, as if sending blessings to thousands of households, and we were extremely happy. At night, after we had dinner, I watched the Spring Festival Gala with my father, mother, and sister. That wonderful performance made my mood suddenly clear, with cross-talk, skits, and singing and dancing... it was very beautiful.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, as soon as I woke up, I found that there was New Year's money under my pillow, and my brother also had it. We laughed happily, and then after we finished eating dumplings, we went to my grandmother's house to pay New Year's greetings. After that, my grandparents gave us New Year's money and even took out all the delicious food for us to eat. We were all very happy.

I like Chinese New Year, it's so good!
