Title: Algorithm Engineer Intern
Basic Qualifications:
• Masters or Ph.D in Medical physics, Bioengineering, Electrical enginee
ring, Computer engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of related work experience desired.
• Self motivated, quick learner, ability to work independently as well a
s in a team.
• Strong desire to learn and apply new technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Ultrasound image processing algorithm design for strain estimation.
• Cross correlation, power spectrum or least square algorithm plus filte
r design for strain estimation.
• Work with groups within GE to develop, communicate, implement detailed
plans and carry out development tasks.
• Initiate innovative ideas in technologies and build quality products o
ut of such ideas.
• Perform all development tasks on time to meet business requirements.

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge and experience at Matlab, C/C and other software in
image processing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in strain imaging algorithm.
• Familiar with ultrasound image.
• Ability to work independently on complex issues and deliver with minim
al supervision.
• Enjoy and excel in a highly results-oriented, deadline driven environm
ent.
