Description
In this position, you would be responsible for an interesting research project for Enterprise workload performance analysis running on latest and future Intel Xeon multi-core server.
Qualifications:
You should be an graduate student currently pursuing a Masters or PhDs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Additional qualifications include:
1. Self-motivated individual who can study and work independently to get the job done
2. At least 8 months to one year full-time work in Intel
3. Expert on Linux/Unix programming, C/C and java
4. Knowledge of virtualization and Simulation: Xen, Oracle VM, Simics. (Opt)
5. Knowledge of data mining (Opt)
6. Knowledge and experience in running/tuning/optimizing enterprise system/applications, like Oracle DB, fusion Apps and fusion middleware (Opt)
7. Knowledge of computer Architecture and CPU Micro-architecture. (Opt)
8. Expert on Shell, Perl programming (Opt)
9. Innovation: Develop innovative approaches and ideas (Opt)
10. Familiar with performance tuning tools: Vtune, oprofile (Opt)
